Description

Dear Berkeley Postdocs,

Are you interested in discussing teaching experience and opportunities for postdocs? Come join the Berkeley Postdoctoral Association for the Pedagogy Series Lunch (PSL) designed to provide a forum on pedagogy for postdocs. The talks are informal and will take a ‘soapbox’ style, that is, you get 5-10 minutes to share your idea(s) with time for questions.

This month will focus on the importance of a strong teaching statement for faculty positions. If you have any suggestions, want feedback, or don’t know where to start, come by with your current teaching statement. If you have examples to share, please bring them with you! Whether you have zero teaching experience or are a seasoned practitioner, we welcome you to join us. Hopefully you will learn something new!
